What the $20 applies to
Everything on our bench, as long as it is your first repair with us:
- Cell phones — iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Motorola: screen replacement (incell or OLED), battery, charging port, back glass, cameras, water damage.
- Game consoles — PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck: HDMI port, disc drive, overheating clean & thermal paste, Joy-Con drift, controllers.
- Computers — laptop screens, batteries, keyboards, SSD upgrades, virus removal, Windows and Mac.
- Tablets, smartwatches, earbuds — iPad, Galaxy Tab, Apple Watch, AirPods.
Diagnosis is free either way. If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing.

Repairing before you trade in or upgrade
Planning to trade in your phone with AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile for a new iPhone or Galaxy? Carriers grade the device you hand over, and a cracked screen or swollen battery usually drops it to the lowest tier or disqualifies it. A $20-off first-time screen or battery repair at UTTECH often costs far less than the trade-in value you would lose. Bring the phone in, we quote it, you decide.
